These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website bhpfin.in and all related services provided by BHP Finance Pvt. Ltd., a premier financial services and advisory firm. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any part of bhpfin.in or availing any services offered by BHP Finance, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
  • You are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  • You consent to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated herein by reference.
  • If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using our website and services.

BHP Finance provides the following financial services:

Health Insurance

Hospitalization, group medical covers, critical illness, and cancer protection policies.

General Insurance

Comprehensive motor, fire & allied perils, marine cargo, and engineering project covers.

Liability Insurance

Employers liability, public liability, product liability, and professional E&O covers.

Miscellaneous Insurance

Money-in-transit, householder package, shopkeeper package, and jewellery covers.

Investment Advisory

SEBI-registered investment advisory services for mutual funds and equities.

Financial Planning

Personalized tax-saving schemes, retirement roadmaps, and portfolio advisory.

All services are subject to individual policy terms, underwriting criteria of partner insurers, and SEBI regulations. BHP Finance reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any advisory support without prior notice.

03 Eligibility Criteria

To avail our insurance advisory and wealth services, you must generally meet the following criteria (subject to insurer guidelines):

  • Proposer Age: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to contract.
  • Entities: Individual resident Indians, HUF, partnership firms, and registered corporate entities.
  • KYC Verification: Standard government-issued identification (PAN card and Aadhaar card) is mandatory.
  • Medical Checks: Required for health/critical covers depending on age and sum insured limits.
  • Corporate Policies: Business entities must provide valid incorporation, business registration (GST/MSME), andCA financials.

04 User Obligations

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information in all applications and communications.
  • Notify BHP Finance immediately of any changes to your personal, financial, or contact information.
  • Not use our website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data of BHP Finance.
  • Not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from our website without written permission.
  • Pay all premium dues directly to the insurer in accordance with the policy schedules.
  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials and notify us of any unauthorized use.
Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate rejection of your application, cancellation of existing facilities, and legal action under the Indian Penal Code and applicable laws.

05 Insurance Policy & Advisory Terms

Premium Quotes & Estimates
  • All premium rates and cover terms are determined directly by our partner insurance companies and are subject to risk assessment and underwriting guidelines.
  • Premium calculations are indicative, and the final premium amount will be communicated in the official policy quote from the insurer.
  • All charges are inclusive of standard GST (typically 18% on insurance).
Premium Payment
  • All premiums must be paid directly to the partner insurance company through secure digital channels. BHP Finance does not collect cash premiums.
  • BHP Finance is not responsible for policy lapses or cancellations due to non-payment or delayed premium payments by the client.
Claims & Exclusions
  • Policy coverage, exclusions, waiting periods, and claim approvals are governed solely by the terms of the master policy document issued by the insurer.
  • While BHP Finance assists in preparing claims, the final decision to settle or reject claims rests entirely with the insurance provider.

06 Intellectual Property

All content on bhpfin.in — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, and software — is the property of BHP Finance Pvt. Ltd. or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.

  • You may access and print content for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • The BHP Finance name, logo, and all related marks are registered trademarks. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
  • You may not frame or use framing techniques to enclose any trademark or proprietary information of BHP Finance without written consent.

07 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • BHP Finance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
  • Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to BHP Finance in the three months preceding the claim.
  • We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Market information and analysis provided on the website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.

08 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BHP Finance, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or regulation
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights
  • Any inaccurate or fraudulent information provided by you

09 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be:

  • First: Attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation within 30 days.
  • Then: Referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by BHP Finance.
  • Jurisdiction: The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any matter not resolved through arbitration.

Customers may also approach the RBI Ombudsman under the Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2021 for unresolved banking-related grievances.
